I love exploring themes through graphic artwork, honing either Adobe skills or hand-drawing each time, and occasionally getting to sneak a pun in on top -- win win!

Client wanted to dispel the stuffy perception of the local 'wine society' to attract new members of all (18+) ages and backgrounds. The focus is on enjoyment, not snobbery. I combined the theme of 'people' and 'wine' into one visual that feels welcoming and fun. It reflects diversity of both desired membership, and the world of wine available to try (as this Society is open-minded but some others focus on an elite Old World niche). The clients were very pleased.
Following on from the logo - a poster design to drive new membership. I played around with lots of colour/pattern versions, but felt that, of all, this would have the best impact on a passer-by. It stands out well on the crowded notice-boards, is more cohesive and quickly draws the eye to the important elements, rather than overwhelming. Factoring time to step-away and reflect is important. They want to use the same design next season, just updated. (Contact info here is anonymised).
Gin and Tonic themed party sign I love themes, puns and exploring graphic art, don't mind a G&T either!
A logo for a consultant strategist who requested both the compass and a Cyrillic alphabet 'vibe'.
A local franchisee asked me to design a logo for her new beauty consultancy business. Word art is a much favoured art style of mine; using the letters to visually describe their meaning. Whilst I don't normally like to mix up upper/lower cases in one set, it fulfilled the objective to create an image of a confident 'new me' client stepping back out into the world.
A creative exercise, not intended for a real client, though the business is real. I like to explore ideas and play with themes when I come across things that spark my imagination, word art is often at the forefront.
